British Isles has been filling the demands of Houston's cosmopolitan consumers for British merchandise since 1993. We stock china and crystal, formal and casual dinnerware, gifts, collectibles, toiletries and a good variety of greeting cards, maps and books from and about Britain and Ireland. British Isles also supplies food, tea and candy--everyday favorites and gourmet.

Shipping

Please provide a street address as UPS does not ship to a PO Box. We charge an additional $45 for overnight shipping, an additional $35 for second day shipping, and an additional $20 for third day shipping.

Return Policy:

Purchases, excluding food and toiletries, may be returned for a full refund of the cost of the item within 60 days of purchase.  Shipping costs are not refundable. Returns should be pre-approved (call or email British Isles) and sent back to us with a copy of the order confirmation. We cannot be responsible for any breakage that happens during return shipping.

Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii:  Total shipping charges on orders sent to Hawaii and Alaska will NOT be the same as the amount listed on your order.  For these destinations you will be billed at the actual UPS Ground rate + $2.00 handling fee. We will confirm shipping charges by email before we ship. We will not ship orders without your confirmation of shipping fees.

 Pricing: We try to make sure that all prices listed on our website are correct, however, there may be an occasional pricing error.  If an order is placed for an item with an incorrect price, we will, at our discretion, contact you to cancel or reprice your order before shipping. We do not charge your credit card until your order is placed for shipment.

Declined credit card payments: Our payment gateway requires address verification of cardholders.  If your card is declined, the information you entered may not match the address on file with your card issuer, or your bank may be unable to respond.  If you are not able to complete your transaction online please call the shop during business hours at 713-522-6868.  We may be able to verify and complete the transaction for you.
